English Class CLB 3-4E (L-CCS SFC25003)

CCS LINC provides year-round English language instruction to adult immigrants, facilitating learners' cultural, social, economic integration and settlement in Canada. Instruction is task oriented, learner-centred, and is delivered virtually via Zoom.

Class structure: 5-6pm - self-paced and asynchronous activities; 6-9pm - teacher-led & synchronous learning; 9-10pm - self-paced & asynchronous. Lesson plans relate to and build upon experiences that students bring to each class. Standard LINC curriculum is followed & PLBA framework is used to track progress. Classes are inclusive and rich in diversity, serving a wide range of clients. CCS functions as a one-stop-shop for newcomers, offering a myriad of programs ranging from employment assistance, transportation, counseling, supportive housing and much more.
