Financial Literacy - Retirement Planning

The Retirement Planning workshop will touch on a number of topics and concepts with a light-hearted and welcoming approach.

The objective is to provide an introduction to retirement planning in the hopes of guests and attendees to then conduct their own research and advance their own learning.

Some of what will be covered includes:
• Free tools on Canada.ca
• How to determine the amount of money needed for retirement
• Sources of retirement income
• How to start building a retirement plan
• Your financial home

Attendees are encouraged to take notes and ask questions. The resources used to create the
workshop will be made available for anyone to review and learn further from.
