Transportation FAQ

  • How do I register?

    The first step before you book a ride is to register. It’s free to register, just fill out the application form that fits your needs and return it to the Transportation office.

  • How do I book a ride?

    After registering as a rider with CCS you can book a ride by email bookings@ccs4u.org or call 905-584-2300 ext. 217, 218, 221 during business hours. Nominal fees apply. Ride requests must be received a minimum of two business days before the ride is required. Rides can be booked a maximum of seven days in advance. Last minute ride requests may be accommodated when possible.

  • Where do I have to reside to be eligible for services?

    Individuals that reside within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Caledon, generally defined as south of Highway #9, North of Mayfield Rd, East of Winston Churchill Blvd and West of Albion-Bolton Townline.

    Transportation available if you are registered in a CCS program using a cross boundary transfer stop.

  • I require an escort and/or a mobility aid to travel?

    If you are travelling with a PSW or escort, they must be there to assist you with translation, vision or mobility needs. Escorts ride free of charge.
    If you reside in Caledon and require a mobility aid to travel such as a wheelchair or walker you must apply to the Region of Peel TransHelp program.

  • What are the hours of operations?

    Monday to Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    Sunday and Statutory Holidays 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
