Working closely with the elderly population is a true passion of mine which stemmed from my close relationship with my grandparents. Home care specifically sparked my interest following my grandfather’s personal home care needs back in 2018. In particular, I enjoyed getting to know the personal support workers (PSWs) that had conducted these home visits, which lead me to homecare and scheduling.
I have more than seven years of experience working in healthcare management, holding various roles in clinical settings as well as back-end offices. What I find most rewarding in these roles is really getting to know the staff and working alongside them to deliver quality care. On an educational level, I hold degrees in both Community Health Sciences from Brock University and Health Management from York University.
Outside of work, you can find me running behind my very active and lively young daughter, who is constantly keeping me on my feet. I also enjoy travelling as I love the opportunity to experience different cultures and meet new people.
I am thrilled to be a part of the management team here at Caledon Community Services and look forward to serving the senior residents of the community.
