Start learning English and improving your skills today with LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada)!

With small class sizes and certified instructors, combined with presentations, field trips and guest speakers, LINC provides the ultimate learning experience in a fun and supportive setting. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never learned English, or if you know some grammar and vocabulary already – there is a learning level to suit everyone!

LINC is open to all immigrants who are 18 years of age or older and are Permanent Residents or Convention Refugees. Enrolling is easy - just call 905-584-2300 Ext. 257 and get started with a language assessment.

Our classes combine in person and online learning offering a hyflex learning environment, so you can join whatever class format best fits your schedule. This makes it possible for eligible clients' to participate from surrounding communities. If you’re not comfortable with technology, our Digital Navigator can help you learn all the technical skills needed to participate in our classes.

LINC is funded by the Government of Canada through the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
