CCS aspires to operate within a matrix model with all programs, services and operations working closely with one another. Caring community starts here as we strive to provide wrap-around care for every age group with a broad range of services that make a positive difference in people’s lives. We’re lifting people out of poverty and improving the lives of individuals, families and businesses every day.

In this model, our Senior Management Team is tasked with the responsibility of allocating the right kinds and amounts of resources across programs/services. This group of leaders work closely with our middle management team and front-line staff to provide responsive and effective day to day services. Together we get the job done!

2020	First National Coldest Night of the Year walk is held in support of homeless, hungry and hurting.

2010's

2018	Osprey Valley launches the annual Mackenzie Open; CCS selected as one of three charities to receive funding.
2018	Velocity Bike Ride in support of seniors is launched.
2017	Transitions employment training program is launched.
2017	The MTO Transportation Program (pilot) is extended an additional year.
2017	Chez Thrift relocated and is rebranded as Evolve Clothing. The ReUstore is rebranded as Evolve Lifestyle.
2017	The Seniors Health & Wellness Program expands to the Caledon Community Complex.
2016	3-year CARF Accreditation awarded. First Accredited NFP in Caledon.
2016	Successful relaunch of the Home for the Holidays Gala with a first-time three-year presenting sponsor.
2016	L.I.F.E. for Youth celebrates its 10th cycle graduation.
2016	The Seniors Health & Wellness Program expands to a seniors building in Snelgrove.
2016	The Youth Job Connection program is launched.
2015	Perfect Pairing becomes Night on the Town and continues its support of specialized transportation in Caledon.
2015	Pilot transportation program for non-seniors and adults is launched.
2014	Annual Wish Upon a Star is launched and supports Santa Fund.
2013	The Community Assisted Living Program (CALP) is expanded to Caledon East.
2013	CCS’ Food Support program is moved to The Exchange.
2013	The Exchange opens as a Community Hub and extends its resources to other organizations and the public.
2013	The Caledon Specialist Clinic opens.
2011	A new Community Assisted Living Program (CALP) is launched in Bolton.
2010	The Passenger Assistant Program is launched.
2010	Bike Night is launched to support youth through Kidz in Caledon.
2010	The Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) opens within CCS.

2009	The Transitional Care Centre (TCC) is established.
2008	Perfect Pairing fundraiser launched in support of specialized transportation services.
2008	CCS partners with Town of Caledon on Club Caledon program to promote recreation and wellness to low-income families.
2008	Kidz to Kamp renamed Kidz in Caledon; campaign scope is broadened
2008	Husky launches corporate matching challenge in support of Santa Fund.
2008	The Seniors Helping Seniors program is launched.
2008	The Eh Café (English Helps) is launched.
2008	L.I.F.E. for Youth is launched.
2007	CCS launches a LINC Program for newcomers.
2007	Region of Peel agrees to provide a new accessible bus every two years for ten years.
2006	Chez Thrift relocates to 301 Queen Street South, Bolton.
2005	Caledon Community Services is officially registered.
2003	First annual Garden Foods Golf Tournament is held.
2002	First Kidz to Kamp initiative is launched.

1998	The agency begins to operate as Caledon Community Services.
1998	The first annual Home for the Holidays Gala is held.
1998	Opportunity Centre expands, renamed Jobs Caledon.
1998	The ReUstore opens at the Bolton Community Recycling Centre
1996	The agency moves to the Royal Courtyards in Bolton.
1994	In-home respite program for caregivers is launched.
1992	Opportunity Centre launches supporting social assistance recipients to secure employment.
1992	First wheelchair–accessible van is purchased.
1991	Chez Thrift relocates to 55 Healey Road.
1991	Name changed to Caledon Information & Community Services (CICS).

1980's

1989	The Med-Wheels Program is launched.
1987	Through CIC sponsorship, The Caledon Parent-Child Centre is launched.
1986	First Executive Director is hired.
1984	Through CIC sponsorship, Meals on Wheels is launched.
1983	Bolton Contact Centre officially becomes the Caledon Information Centre (CIC).
1982	First annual Santa Fund is launched.
1982	Chez Thrift opens its doors in the basement of the Bolton Barber Shop.
1981	Agency receives government funding and hires first paid staff member.
