I am grateful to be part of Caledon Community Services (CCS) Health Services team as the Manager of Staff and Scheduling. Although I currently live in Brampton, I have fallen in love with Caledon's beauty and its commitment to supporting its community. I believe it is imperative that people feel empowered to show up as their whole selves in spaces that are meant to serve them, and the values of inclusiveness and innovation prove CCS' dedication to progress.
My experience comes from my passion for serving the community. As Program Manager for the Black Peer Education Network at Black Women in Motion, I oversaw the effective planning and implementation of the Black Peer Education Network Program. In addition, I've worked in the healthcare sector as a recruiter for an employment agency and as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for several years in the community. My diverse experience of working in various communities, dedication to community development, support, advocacy, and effective communication, allow me to empower staff to their personal best.
Beyond work, I also enjoy travelling, creating, gardening, spending time with my family, and learning new things.
