Caledon Community Services strives for a healthy, engaged and compassionate community for all and we have adapted all programs and services to safeguard the health of our clients, volunteers and staff across Caledon. The following safety measures are in place within all our locations in response to the impact of COVID-19 and to better prepare us all for the return to more normal operations once it is safe to do so.
Putting the safety of our valued volunteers first, until further notice we have suspended all volunteer opportunities at all our locations.
Closed to both donations and shopping until further notice. We look forward to welcoming you back when it is safe to do so.
CCS FOOD PANTRY – The EXCHANGE
Our food support services have adapted to continue to serve the growing numbers of most vulnerable seniors, families and individuals.
Clients receive food hampers monthly by appointment at prearranged pick up times on Monday, Wednesday or Friday 10 AM – 3 PM.

PROGRAMS & FACILITIES
At this time, we are limiting the number of visitors to all our programs and facilities. 18 King St. E. both 2nd floor Jobs Resource Centre and street level Specialist Clinic are closed to the public until further notice. To decrease potential exposure and #plankthecurve of COVID-19, we have transitioned the majority of staff with non-direct client care and transportation to a work from home status [WFH].
• All group activities have been suspended until it is safe to resume.
• Virtual workshops are being developed and offered for Employment and Language Services and virtual meetings are encouraged.
All steps that have been taken are designed to protect everyone including our staff, our community, and the thousands of vulnerable individuals and families we serve every day.
The COVID pandemic creates a whole new set of difficulties for the already vulnerable, precariously housed or employed. While COVID-19 also presents a new set of challenges for us at Caledon Community Services, and we have adapted and stand ready to embrace our vision and mission and tackle this new world. Together, we can get through this.
